company philosophy

As founding partners, we originally set up vortex energy as a family company. Shaped by our Christian faith, we set ourselves the goal of establishing a sustainably managed company with the help of family members working for us, which would make a contribution to preserving God’s creation by developing renewable energy.

With the establishment of our Polish sister company vortex polska, two further partners, Adam Pantkowski and August Abing, joined the team.

The growing business success of vortex energy led to hiring external staff. In keeping with the character of the company, they too are treated like members of the family, and the entire vortex team work together to shape and preserve that character. At vortex, solid, sustainable growth takes precedence over short-term maximisation of profit. Taking responsibility for our employees and their families as well as our own and for the environment therefore remains one of the foundation stones of our business activities, even in a market experiencing rapid growth.
